Happy Fall!
Thank you so very much for being a fan and customer of DeForest Lake Designs mittens. I hope that you are well. I am out of my reverse hibernation! It’s time to begin to post my new mittens for the upcoming cold weather and holiday season. Before I post to Facebook, I want to give my loyal customers a sneak peek at my latest mitten designs, that I have been working on over the past months for the 2021 Winter Season, are posted in my online shop at www.DeForestLakeDesigns.com Of course, I will be making more mittens in the coming months, too.
This Summer, I had hand surgery that put me out of commission for about 3 months, but during that time I explored doing crewel work on mittens, which is needlework done with wool or acrylic yarn. It affords a different look and in some designs, finer detail. It turns out to be fun and a little easier on my healing front paw! I wish you all good health and joy! We all need that these days.
