The clocks were turned back last week. I scraped my windshield for the first time – so it’s time to get out those mittens!
I decided to send this email to all my customers because I wanted to thank you for your past purchases and interest in my business. I’ve gotten feedback from some of you wondering if my DeForest Lake Designs website was “still out there.” Facebook shares my posts in the newsfeed only with a very small percentage of my Facebook Followers, so I wanted to let you know that I’m still here!
We are all hearing about increased shipping costs coming soon, which may be a deciding factor for online purchasing. For the past 2 years, my shipping costs have gone up, but I never increased the shipping charge to my customers. This year, I won’t be increasing that shipping charge either, whatever it may be, so it may save you a bit.
My handcrafted mittens, totally made by me, are here in my Bethel, CT workshop and not being held hostage in an off-shore container!! So, I can ship for the holidays which is an advantage for small, artisan businesses and very small ones like mine.
